My photo featured in the BBC Countryfile Magazine

I’m thrilled to have one of my images from the Giants Causeway, Northern Ireland, featured in the 100th edition of the BBC Countryfile Magazine!

I remember exactly the day I took this photograph. There was a heavy rain a few minutes before, which helped to make all the people run away, and suddenly I had the whole place only for me to photograph it :-)

Giants Causeway | Northern Ireland

The Giant’s Causeway is an area of about 40,000 interlocking basalt columns, a volcanic rock formation that is the result of an ancient volcanic eruption. It is located in County Antrim on the northeast coast of Northern Ireland and it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986. Most of the columns are hexagonal, although there are also some with four, five, seven or eight sides.
